Ovidiu, after losing his HoReCa job during the pandemic, turns to online gambling to make ends meet. His partner, Alexia, an overworked paramedic, tries to support him, but the strain grows as Ovidiu's gambling spirals out of control. He loses their savings and money borrowed from friends, pushing the couple into financial ruin.

As Ovidiu starts selling possessions to cover his losses, their relationship slowly crumbles.






Director Biography - Andrei Cristian Bortica

Andrei Borțică is a young director from Bucharest, Romania. He is currently in his third year of Film Directing and first year of Acting, both at Hyperion University. So far, he has made three films: a short film, a medium-length film, and a feature film. He has won ten international awards at prestigious film festivals, being recognized for directing, acting, best film, best cinematography, and best soundtrack. In the future, Andrei aims to broaden his horizons and continue his career as a director.
